Adjustment

  1. Check if restraints are in good condition.
  2. Bring the straps to the bedside of the user.
  3. Place the restraint on the bed and put gently the user’s writs or ankle on the woolly felt.
  4. Cross the ends of the belts and make sure that :

– The first belt is threaded in the slot of the opposite side.

– The second belt passes behind the restriction and slips into the hemming.

  1. Interlock the two extremities and make sure it is not too tight.
  2. Adjust the restraint belts firmly.
  3. Fix it to the bed or the chair.
  4. Check the comfort and the good body alignment of the user.

Specifications

  • Make sure the belts do not touch the skin, in order to avoid rubbing.
  • Leave two finger space between user’s wrist or ankle and the restraint.
  • Make a simple knot and a half loop, then fix the restraint under the mattress.
